Applications of 1429-50-1

Industry Application Process
Water Treatment Used as a corrosion inhibitor and scale inhibitor in industrial recirculating cooling water systems and boiler water treatment to prevent metal corrosion and calcium/magnesium scale deposition. Added directly to the water system, where it functions by chelating metal ions and dispersing scale crystals.
Textile Industry Used as a hydrogen peroxide stabilizer in bleaching processes to prevent premature decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, thereby improving bleaching efficiency and fiber quality. Added to the bleaching bath to chelate metal ions and minimize catalytic decomposition.
Paper Industry Used as a stabilizer in pulp bleaching to prevent metal-catalyzed decomposition of hydrogen peroxide and enhance bleaching efficiency. Added during the hydrogen peroxide bleaching stage to control decomposition rate.
Detergents & Personal Care Used as a chelating agent in certain cleaning formulations and cosmetics to sequester calcium, magnesium, and other metal ions, thereby improving product performance. Formulated with other ingredients in the final product.
Agriculture Used as a micronutrient chelating agent in certain fertilizer or pesticide formulations to enhance plant uptake of nutrients. Applied as pre-formed chelates with trace metal elements.
Oilfield & Mining Used as an iron stabilizer in oil well acidizing treatments to prevent ferric hydroxide precipitation; employed as an inhibitor or chelating agent in mineral processing. Injected during acidizing or enhanced oil recovery operations; added during flotation or leaching processes.
